Erdem Holding companies extend their objectives with Development Project
The “Development Project” of Nezih Trading New Technical Building Construction and Composite Chemistry operating in affiliation with Erdem Holding in İzmit, is activated by June 1st, 2010. Each of these three firms aimed at reorganization, growth and development with the Development Project operate in very import business areas. The high performance targeted by the companies for the coming years is the most important starting point of this project. Many elements from reorganization to central organization, from human resources organization to the development of technological infrastructure take part within this project.
Three companies’ future development targets:
Organizational Structuring: Each company’s organization chart, job descriptions, authorized bodies, work flows, formal communication processes shall be revised. The learning from the processes in many achieved projects will be used more efficiently to reach the desired level.
Central Organization: The organizations of functions like Financial Affairs and Financing, Human Resources, Information Technology, Integrated Management Systems, Legal Consultancy and Administrative Affairs shall be revised or established
Human Resources: The target is to develop human resources functions like performance evaluation, recruitement, remuneration, training planning for the employees of three companies.
Technological Infrastructure: ERP infrastructure used in certain levels in companies is aimed to be developed on the basis of company needs and user demands and be used as a “Management Tool"
The studies made for this direction until today will be taken to further stages.
Erdem Holding’s Development Project is aimed at continuous learning and practicing what is learned. Vira Consultancy which took place in similar projects in many sectors until today supports the Development Project. Vira team took also part in “New Organization and Change Project” of AGDAŞ which started in May 2009. Vira Consultancy is focused on Change Management, New Organization and Coaching Management.
Gökhan Erdem: “In this journey we set off we will succeed together”
Gökhan Erdem made a speech after the meeting emphasizing a big alignment between the results of “Group Works” and “Development Project” content; and he mentioned that the points raised in group activities are very important and shed the light to companies' future. Gökhan Erdem emphasized that the employees will share in common the design that will be brought forth and that he believes the anticipated vision and will follow the issue. Beside that, the "participant team" is at the core of the works to be conducted for the future and through the path for development. Gökhan Erdem mentioned that the Development Project is a very important process to make İzmit Group firms ready for the future and pointed out that it is basically established on concepts like continuous learning, taking lessons from errors and teaching to others. Gökhan Erdem said that the targets like HR reorganization, sales and marketing functions’ efficiency and communication improvement are everyone’s target and that it is very important for team members to pronounce this. Finally Gökhan Erdem gave the message that they will work together to be successful in this journey they get started.
