On behalf of GENPA, the award is given to Tolga ŞAHiN, Vice President, Technologies, who claimed that they are going to repeat the same achievement in 2003 for Dect Systems. He added that a total of 3060 dect handsets integrated to 86 corporate firms in their reference list and 1200 base stations were the clear indications of the success they hold.

Şahin also said that Genpa has started integrating proffessional Dect systems small to big enterprises since 1997 and the main factor behind the success of GENPA A.Ş. in wireless communication is the specialist team of its people. Unlike the dect systems used at homes, Genpa is integrating the system like a mini cellular phone system which has more than one base station and a single station can easily cover 300 meters of range. Şahin also said that for establishment of the system, firms are visited for testing and according to the test results, number of base stations snd their vlocations are determined." After this phase, our customers decide on the number of dect phones according to the number of users and the system can easily operate with different switchboard brands. Freedom is granted for desktop phone users where security is held at utmost level through encrypted broadcasting protocol which blocks unwanted interference of the third parties. Besides, outputs of Dect handsets and their base stations are 100 times lower than the cellular phones providing no harm for people and oversensitive machinery in hospitals."

Şahin continued saying that no matter how wide the area is, every point that is required to be covered is included and advantages of the system therefore is much more than the costs it generates.
