PRIME MINISTER ERDOGAN INVITED AMERICAN INVESTORS TO COME TO TURKEY AND REGARD HER, AS THEIR OWN HOME
DR. ZEYNEL ABIDIN ERDEM WAS THE WITNESS OF THE HISTORICAL MEETING
Prime Minister Erdoğan invited American Investors to come to Turkey and regard her, as their own home.
Prime Minister, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in an official visit to United States of America (USA) upon the invitation of USA President George W. Bush, has met with USA's most significant Financial Institutions' and the largest firms' CEOs in American Trade Chamber, U.S. Chamber of Commerce on January 29, in a breakfast meeting.
Prime Minister, Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN, State Minister, Kürşat Tüzmen, State Minister, Ali Babacan, National Defence Minister, Vecdi Gönül, Head of TOBB (Turkish Chambers and Stock Exchange Unity) Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Head of Turkish American Businessmen Association, Dr. Zeynel Abidin ERDEM and Head of DEIK Turkish American Business Committee, Vural Akışık has came together with the most powerful financial institutions of the world and Vice President of American Chamber of Commerce in charge of Eastern Europe and Asia Gary Litman and Vice President in charge of foreign affairs General Daniel Christman on January 29, at a breakfast meeting. During the meeting, the striking improvements in Turkish Economy in 2003 were appreciated. The fact that, this comment was made by the CEOs of Financial Institutions delighted the Turkish committee.
Dr. Zeynel Abidin ERDEM, CEO of Erdem Corporation Board of Directors and Turkish Representative of American Chamber of Commerce CEO of TABA AmCham stated that, the Prime Minister Mr. Erdoğan expressed the consistent improvements experienced in Turkey’s recent economy very clearly. Erdem stated "Prime Minister Mr. Erdoğan has invited the CEOs of US Capital Groups to regard Turkey as their own home and to come to Turkey. Turkish Prime Minister declared that the bureaucratic restraints and the reluctances of foreign investors are eliminated one by one. This statement impressed the participants and built up their trust. This was a big and significant opportunity for us. I congratulate our Prime Minister. We, TOBB, TABA and DEIK pledge to do our part to realize what is necessary and to support our Prime Minister in every way we can."
