The fifth largest company in Informatics
The results of the “Top 500 Informatics Companies” survey which is the broadest study reflecting the Turkish informatics market, conducted by İnterpromedya, have been announced. According to the survey results, Genpa ranks fifth in the general listing.
The results of the by now traditional “Top 500 Informatics Companies” survey conducted by Interpromedya have become clear. The top 500 of the Informatics sector were announced in a private ceremony held on 27 June at Kadir Has University. Türk Telekom, Turkcell and Telsim (Vodafone) achieved the top positions while Genpa became the fifth largest company.
The night started with the opening speech of Interpromedya General Director Ms. Güldane Taşdemir and Türkiye Ekonomi Bank Chairman Mr. Yavuz Canevi and Kadir Has University Asst. Rector Prof. Dr. Deniz Bayrakdar Sevgen also gave a speech.
The Informatics 500 list specified that there were 18 category winners in the “equipment”, 11 in the “service”, and 19 in the “software” branches. In addition to the Top 10 companies, plaques were given at the night; to the winners in 50 categories included under the software, equipment, service and special chapter headings.
The “Top 500 Informatics Companies” survey showing the transformation of the sector and total business volume in the market under 51 categories in which companies are active as well as the company turnover ranking is based on official documentation produced by the polling method. The survey which is used as source on many subjects ranging from foreign trade attaches and public tender authorities to private sector investments is prepared in two different languages, Turkish and English.
