The Companies Soccer League, sponsored by Lotto, once more finished, culminating in a heap of excitement. Genpa Spor whose players consist of Genpa employees once more organized a successful event from the team players to the background team this year not unlike the last year.

This year’s tournament saw Genpa Spor win its games with Borusan Otomotiv, Garanti Bankası and Turkiye Finans. Having matched with IBM in the first round of preliminary games, Genpa won 4 to 1 and in quarterfinal matches, beat Allians 4 to 1. Genpa played the semifinal match with Arcelik. Genpa ranked number two in the tournament. Having played its last game with IKEA, Genpa won that match with a score of 3 to 1 and moved to the semifinals. The last game was with Anadolu Sigorta on June 13th, Saturday. The regular time ended in a draw and teams went for penalty kicks.
